1, Choose your moisturizer.

If you have a daily face moisturizer that you love then feel free to use this as your base for the tinted moisturizer. If you don’t have a daily moisturizer then look for one that works well with your skin type, for example if you have oily skin then choose an oil free moisturizer, for dry and sensitive skin opt for a heavier formula that may contain oil. Don’t forget about SPF; try to find a moisturizer that has an SPF of at least 15!

2, Choose your Foundation.

You can mix either a liquid foundation or a powdered foundation in with your moisturizer. If using liquid foundation then it is important to choose one with the same base as your moisturizer (oil or oil free).

3, Mix.

In a small bowl or empty makeup container begin mixing small amounts of your foundation (liquid or powder) in with your moisturizer. Continue to add and mix in more foundation until you achieve your desired level of coverage. You can mix a small amount of tinted moisturizer to use just for the day, or you can mix a larger amount to store in an empty makeup container for continued use.

For even coverage, it’s best to apply a small amount of your daily moisturizer to your nose, cheeks, forehead and chin first. Then let it sit for a few minutes and then apply your tinted moisturizer!
